Movember is half over, and my mo’ is starting to actually look like something. It’s been an odd experience, and it’s the little things that never occurred to me that stand out in my mind most. Who ever knew that with a mo’ you can’t blow your fringe from your forehead? Drinking tea is a new experience, as the bristles are pushed upon by the rim of the mug, and large bites of food cause my upper lip to tickle my nose. I think it would take a very long time to get used to this! And yes, I badly need a haircut :)
Fortunately (I’m afraid to say) I don’t have to! Movemeber is already halfway through, so it’s time to get serious about the cause and reach for your pocket. So far, two generous friends have donated to the cause in my name: Arvind donated $10 and Jessica donated $50. Thank you very much to both of you!
I know that there are more of you who believe in the cause of raising funding and awareness for prostate cancer and male depression. Did you know that one million Australians live with depression, and last year more than 18,000 men died from prostate cancer? So please be generous and help fight these issues by contributing via the Movember website: http://www.movember.com/au/donate/donate-search.php. Enter my ID number: 72833 and follow the instructions. It’s as simple as can be!
Thank you!
