I tried experimenting with freelensing, the technique of taking photos with the lens not attached to the camera but held in front of the open body. By tilting and moving the lens you can get interesting out of focus effects, vignetting, light leaks and more to create an ‘artistic’ low tech kind of look. Aki was my willing subject. I think this could be an interesting technique to try for a portrait shoot!
