Neil Creek – Photographer

Went down to Chelsea beach this afternoon with a bunch of friends I know from Manifest (The Melbourne Anime Festival). Much fun was had by all:

As the sun went down, I experimented with my flash/ambient light portrait techniques:

But after dark was when I really started to have fun with the camera. I put the flash high on a stand to my left, pointed to a spot on the sand and told one of the guys to jump. Pretty soon we got some cool photos and everyone wanted to see on the back of the camera. This of course inspired everyone else to have a go, and the results were some really funky photos. The first one below is one of my most popular Flickr photos ever, with about 750 views at the time of writing this! Thanks guys for posing for me, it was great fun!
