Neil Creek – Photographer

The last two weeks have been something of an ordeal, but have really brought into focus how much Naomi and I love each other. It’s so important to appreciate the things in your life that you love, and not take them for granted, because you never know what could happen tomorrow.

This month, since I won’t have the time to run a full project, we’ll be doing a special, feel-good mini project. There’ll be no voting, just participation. Anyone can submit an image, and your name and a description can be included with the photo if you wish. I also think we may be able to learn something about each other, which will be nice, since the community around this blog and the photo projects is growing nicely.

Share the Love

This month, I want you to take a photo of something in your life that you love. It could be your significant other, your children, your pet, a favourite landscape view, your favourite food, a precious object, a family heirloom or even yourself! :)

There are no rules, other than you must take and submit only one photo between now and the end of the project on April the 30th, and that you agree with the terms and conditions.

When you submit the photo with the form below, you will be given the opportunity to add a short description of the photo. You can put whatever you like here, or nothing at all. I would love for you to tell us a little about what you love about the subject of your photo, and if you wish you can also include details of how the photo was taken. If you post the photo on your blog or photo sharing site, I will link to that as well.

I’m looking forward to getting to know you all a little better, and enjoying a more relaxed project format. This is a project everyone can participate in, with no pressure, no lessons to learn, and no expectations of brilliant photos. This is only to learn about each other, and explore our appreciation for the things we love, with a camera. Lets leave competition aside for now and have some fun!

Terms: Any photo that you submit remains your sole property. I (Neil Creek) make no claims of ownership or copyright. By submitting a link to your photo, you grant me the right to include a copy of the photo, or a thumbnail of the photo in future posts on the blog (Neil Creek – Photographer) for the purposes of conducting the project, or to be used as an illustrative example in other future blog posts, or for the promotion of this project elsewhere on the blog or on other sites not controlled by me. In all cases all photos displayed for any purpose will be properly attributed and links will be provided to the creator where possible. You also agree to allow me to place advertising on pages on this blog where your photo appears for the purposes of promoting a prize sponsor, or general advertising on the site, without any compensation.
