Bubbles on Aquarium Glass – P365 Jan13

When I don’t clean the glass of our tank often enough, the algae grows and eventually starts producing these bubbles. The furyness you can see in the second photo is the algae, and they produce the gas bubbles as a by-product of their metabolism. The bubbles average about 1mm across.

Cicada wing macro super panorama – P365 Jan04

I found this beautiful Cicada wing in our garden while doing some tidying up for the holidays. I’ve held on to it since then waiting for the time to photograph it properly. This is a large, high resolution macro panorama, similar to the fossil shrimp panorama I did a few weeks back.

Smashed strawberry – P365 Nov26

I was taking photos of a strawberry for today’s Project 365 entry, when I thought, “This is so boring, so cliche, everyone’s done this!” I got so angy I picked up a nearby hammer and started smashing things!
