Last weekend, our good friends Penny and Mark were wed at a beautiful winery restaurant on the Mornington Peninsula. The weather, while threatening, was surprisingly cooperative and made for beautiful soft light for the photos.

A few weeks back I invited readers to link to the favourite photo of theirs which they made last year. There has been a fantastic response, with twenty-one people sharing their best shot.

Last year, around this time, I wrote a post looking back over the year that had been and sharing my favourite photos. It has become one of the most popular posts on my blog. So here is my collection of the Top 10 Photos of 2008, in chronological order. I hope you enjoy them!

This was the first time my nieces had seen snow, and naturally making a snowman and tobogganing were essential activities. The responsibility of ensuring the girls had as much fun possible on the slopes fell to my father and I.
