Last weekend was the Supanova Pop Culture Expo for 2009 in Melbourne. Here are a selection of my favourite photos from the event.
Kinglake Devastation in 3D
While I was at Kinglake for the photoshoot a couple of weeks ago, I deliberately had in mind that I wanted to take some 3D photography. I wanted to be able to present the photos of the destruction in a way that would have more impact, more reality.

On March 8th, 2009, one month and one day after the devastating bushfires of Black Saturday engulfed much of Victoria, Australia, I was invited into the town of Kinglake to photograph the destruction.

Chasing a Comet, Finding Much More
My good friend and exceptionally talented astrophotographer, Phil Hart invited me to go with him last weekend, to a country observing site to photograph Comet Lulin, and test out the 5D2 as an astrophotography camera.
