Meetup With Friends at the Beach
I got together with my Manifest buddies again on the weekend and had a fantastic time at the beach in the summer heat. Much fun was had photographing and swimming.
Birthday Meet at the Arcade
One of my friends from the Manifest forums celebrated their birthday on the weekend, by having a meetup at the arcade Galactic Circus. Photos were very challenging, but it was a lot of fun nonetheless. Here’s some of my favourite photos.
An afternoon with Nicole, Pam, Emily and Daniel
I was invited to visit some friends last weekend. Nicole and Emily, who I know through the Melbourne Anime Festival, moved in with a friend of theirs, Daniel, into a share house a couple of months ago. This weekend, their friend and mine from the country, Pam was visiting. This was the perfect opportunity to catch up with them all.
My Two Mums
Trish visited my mum with us, and I photographed them together, using lighting techniques taught on strobist.com as part of an assignment.
Rachel & Marty’s Wedding
This weekend was my sister-in-law’s wedding. I was asked to do the wedding photography. It was an extremely difficult shoot and the conditions were very challenging, but I’m relieved and happy with the result. I plan to write a detailed post about the shoot soon, about improvising solutions to challenges and problems on location, but for now, please enjoy a selection of the photos.
