Manifest Friends Kris Kringle

Yesterday was the Kris Kringle meet for my Manifest friends. As always these guys were a lot of fun and fantastically photogenic. There was great light and I ended up taking over one thousand photos! Birthday Meet at the Arcade

One of my friends from the Manifest forums celebrated their birthday on the weekend, by having a meetup at the arcade Galactic Circus. Photos were very challenging in the low light (makes me wish for the 5DII’s 12500ISO!), but it was a lot of fun nonetheless. Here’s some of my favourite photos. Manifest meet, Alexandra Gardens

The weekend just gone, I went into one of the city gardens for a meetup of some of my online buddies, from the Melbourne Anime Festival forms, AKA Manifest. Such meets are always lots of fun and this was no exception. I took the opportunity to play with some on-site portrait lighting, as well as a whole bunch of 3D photos. Australia day with the Wii – P365 Jan26

For Australia day today, we were invited to a barbecue by our friends Roger and Naomi. We took along our Wii and we had great fun playing. For a slightly different view, I put the camera on the TV with the remote shutter release and the flash pointing to the roof. I took lots of photos of the guys playing and selected three to show here.
