This is a frame from my first time lapse taken with the new Mobius ActionCam. I need to do some testing and get more practice to learn how best to use the camera, but so far I am very impressed and it will be easy now to take time lapses almost anywhere, any time!

We live in the forest, and the trees are absolutely beautiful. This gigantic one grows only a few steps from our front door and I love to marvel at its height, size, texture and majesty.

Taken just after midnight, this is an 8 shot vertical panorama of the Milky Way from 45 degrees down looking at the reflection in the lake to directly overhead. And I think this may be my first aurora photo ever! See the faint red glow above the horizon? Each shot was: 30sec f1.4 ISO3200

For a slightly different perspective on the night sky I turned the camera downwards and did a short star trail by the reflection in a pond.
