P365 Oct12: Light test with Nomi

A few weeks back I experimented with a portrait lighting technique using a single flash and reflector. The next step is to use two flashes, and this is what I tried tonight. Naomi very kindly helped me out by modeling for me while I experimented. Even Chibi got in on the act :)

I’m very happy with the results, but found they only really looked good very close. If I pulled back too wide I found that the image ended up looking too flat with not enough shadow to define detail. Perhaps I’m doing it wrong. I’ll need to practice this one some more.
