I’ve (finally) joined the “Twitter” community, and you can find me there under the name of: neilcreek
Twitter is like a cross between blogging and instant messaging. It lets you broadcast short (140 chara) messages about anything to those who are “following” you. Inspired by some posts on the Digital Photography School, I’m want to use it as a tool to connect with protographers and my readers online. I’ll be “tweeting” about the blog, interesting stories or pages I read online, or anything that I come across that would be of interest to the readers of this blog.
This is how the Twitter FAQ describes it:
What is it?
Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing? Bloggers can use it as a mini-blogging tool. Developers can use the API to make Twitter tools of their own. Possibilities are endless!
So if you have a Twitter account, or if you’d like to sign up and find out what I’m up to when I’m not blogging (along with anyone else you know who uses Twitter), add “neilcreek” to your contact list! I look forward to seeing you there :)
