  • Interesting project – I’ll have to try to find an appropriate subject to photograph for this one…

  • […] Just A Second Neil Creek Neil is starting up a new project having to do with semi-long exposures. He’s looking for us to take 1 second exposure photos. […]

  • Okay I obviously did something wrong. I put my photo in the group, tagged it appropriately…

    Maybe it’s the wrong group?

  • You did everything right. The drawback of the plugin I use to display flickr photos is that I need to manually refresh the keywords to get new photos showing up. I’ll try and do it daily for the rest of the project to make sure new entries show up!

Let me know if you encounter any further problems.

  • […] Tomorrow I am planning on going to Providence, RI’s Waterfire event. It’ll be a great opportunity to work on the “Just a Second” project going on over at Neil Creek’s site. […]

  • this is a really great idea for a challenge. Especially when, in general, your job is spent in the 100ths of seconds, slowing down and shooting something for an *exact* amount of time is a little challenging, not to mention the subject. (I did the full moon in the Maple Tree.)

  • How about photos with “approximately” 1 second of exposure? My Diana+ doesn’t exactly have a timer on it, but I did a few long exposures with the pinhole option. A few of these were on the order of 1 second.
