  • Yeah, Neil, I’m all over this new Canon as well. I’m sitting here trying not to drool. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this excited over a new toy. Well, it’s my livelihood, so I can’t really call it a toy…but then again, yes I can! :-)

Good luck on the Photo5 project, looking forward to seeing your end results.

  • I wish I was making enough from my photography already to just be able to say “I’ll preorder as soon as it’s available”. Instead it’s “I’ll save and scrape and sacrifice in the hopes that I’ll be able to afford it before the MkIII comes out”! :)

I’m fascinated to see what you’d be capable of with that in your hands :)

I got mine today too!! But I got a purple crayon, magenta umbrella and my bubble mix is in a purple bottle. I like your colours better.

  • Bah, full frame. you youngin’s aren’t doing it right. In my day, we recorded to emulsion, not a slab of silicon :P

really, i’m interested in how it does video. kinda disapointed by the limitation (though it’s not a sensor limitation.. hmmm..), and i wished the WFT-E4 could dump to NTFS hard drives, but we’ll see. Don’t worry, i’ll see you with it at next year’s manifest :P

getting something to replace the 18-55 II for close shots on it?

  • Hey Neil, firstly I love your photos, and your website is great, very very professional.

In reply to this blog, I received my box a week ago and comp opens today, can’t wait to enter my pics in.

Very interested to see what others are going to be doing also.

Look forward to seeing what you come up with!

    Justin
