"Chompers" is a gang gang cockatoo who belonged to our friends Des and Chris. They are moving overseas and have to leave their birds behind. We visited to take a few photos of the family together.

This kangaroo and joey were among the many kinds of native wildlife we spotted on a sunset drive through Wilson’s Prom National Park on the weekend.

We were spending our first weekend there as a family in my sister’s new holiday house. It’s such a beautiful part of the country!

The Emerald Star Bush (Asterolasia asteriscophora albiflora – AKA White Star Bush – en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asterolasia_asteriscophora) is a very rare and endangered plant found only in Emerald and the surrounding area, and nowhere else in the world.

Naomi is on a special committee to protect and raise awareness about the plant, so I helped her out by taking some photos of it for use in various materials.

It’s a cool feeling to know I have possibly taken the best photos of this plant ever taken!
