This was something of a lucky shot! While finding a good composition for the flowers, the bee popped into frame so I quickly pressed the shutter. In the end it was perfectly positioned, and the settings allowed it to be shown sharply! This was taken with the Canon G15. Not a bad shot for a compact :)

Mum visited today and we walked around our garden together. I captured a photo of this cute plant. The narrow DOF with f2.8 really helps this shot!

Months ago I tried to transplant some moss from our lawn into a crevice in a rock wall, to see if the moss would take. It dried out over summer and I thought it had failed, but today it seems to have successfully taken! I think I shal do some more!
