Beaded Mahjong Coaster – P365 Jan21

Sorry about the lack of updates lately, I’ve had a very busy weekend (as you’ll see in photos soon) and a couple of big jobs on at the moment that are keeping me very busy. Anyway – on with P365!

This is a beautiful beaded piece made by a member of the Bead Society of Victoria, which I photographed for Naomi for the upcoming BSV newsletter. It is actually designed as a drink coaster and features a mahjong tile. The owner made it to take along to use at the mahjong games she plays with her friends.

If it were me, I’d feel reluctant to use such a beautiful piece for such a hard-wearing job.
