On the last night of the workshop I set up my camera on a tripod, looking over the lake back towards the house for a 5 hour time lapse. It was pretty cloudy, but that still made for an interesting sequence! Click the link below, and at 3sec look for us on the right doing light painting with FIRE!

The second night of the workshop I stayed up late to watch the moon rise. The colours were spectacular as the waning crescent moon illuminated the misty waters of Lake Eppalock.

I found this orange cocoon while sorting through the green waste for burning. It was amongst decomposing tree bark. It’s about 1cm across. I have no idea what it is, but it’s beautiful! Can anyone help identify it?

I recently discovered that highlighter pens are UV reactive. This makes a few shoots I have in mind SO MUCH easier!! It was tricky getting this shot though. Focusing in the dark when you’re not even in the shot is tricky…
