On the last night of the workshop I set up my camera on a tripod, looking over the lake back towards the house for a 5 hour time lapse. It was pretty cloudy, but that still made for an interesting sequence! Click the link below, and at 3sec look for us on the right doing light painting with FIRE!

I have no idea what these tiny purple flowers are, but they’re very cute. I’m also impressed with the DOF on the G15, the shot here was taken at f2.8 and goes down to f1.8.
